The perfect outing for May

The weather is finally changing for the better and I am so excited!!!

Being born in Brazil there is one thing that I don't like about NJ and that is the cold weather and many months of it. You can only imagine how amazing it feels to me to feel the warm breeze and sun in my skin. It reminds me of home!

This May something exciting is happing around NJ and it is called Mansion in May

What happens in Mansion in May is that they will pick a historical mansion and transform into a designer show house and gardens. This year the mansion is called Blairsden.

As their website describe

"Blairsden was the magnificent country home of C. Ledyard Blair, a New York City financier, sportsman and commodore of the New York Yacht Club. Designed and constructed between 1897 and 1903, this 62,000 - square-foot Louis XIV chateau-style mansion was the masterpiece of renowned architecture firm Carrère and Hastings and a favorite destination of New York City's elite during the Gilded Age.

We invite you to find out more about the estate that will be transformed by our 50+ interior and landscape designers to the delight of our visitors during the month of May."

I am so excited to visit the Mansion and go back in time for a day!
